Introduce The Baby In Yellow
The Baby In Yellow is a single-player comedy horror simulation game developed by Team Terrible. Originally created during the GMTK Game Jam, it has grown into a full horror experience featuring 11 story chapters, environmental puzzles, supernatural events, and multiple story acts that continue to expand.
Gameplay overview
Players step into the role of a babysitter assigned to care for an unusually troublesome infant. Simple household tasks gradually evolve into terrifying encounters as the apartment twists into impossible spaces filled with strange creatures, hidden secrets, and paranormal events.
Your responsibilities include:
- Feeding the baby
- Changing dirty diapers
- Putting the baby to bed
- Exploring mysterious rooms
- Solving environmental puzzles
- Escaping supernatural chase sequences
The ordinary quickly gives way to complete chaos, making every chapter more unpredictable than the last.
Every Chapter Reveals a Darker Mystery
Rather than relying only on jump scares, The Baby In Yellow slowly builds its unsettling atmosphere through storytelling and exploration.
Each new chapter introduces additional mysteries surrounding the baby's true identity, mysterious storybooks, hidden collectibles, and recurring supernatural characters. As players progress, they uncover a much larger narrative involving strange organizations, forgotten experiments, and ancient forces operating behind the scenes.
Controls Every Babysitter Should Know
The controls remain intentionally simple so players can focus on exploration and puzzle solving.
PC Controls:
- W, A, S, D - Move
- Mouse - Look around
- E - Interact with objects
Learning to quickly pick up items and interact with the environment becomes increasingly important during chase sequences and puzzle sections.

The Baby In Yellow has continued to receive major updates since its original release.
Recent additions include:
- Expanded story across 11 chapters
- Act 4: Crown Childcare
- New puzzles and exploration areas
- Hidden collectibles and achievements

- Additional lore surrounding Crown Childcare and its mysterious experiments
As of 2026, Team Terrible has confirmed that Act 5 is currently in development, meaning the story is still growing beyond the existing chapters.
